ZEROWATER 12 CUP / 2.8L JUG (NEW MODEL)
This improved model with Ready-Read technology instantly displays the TDS reading of the water as it passes through the body of the device. With the new integrated TDS meter, you can rest easy knowing you're always getting the cleanest tasting water. "Ready Pour" technology allows you to pour water while the water is still filtering without fear of spilling the water. It also features a one-handed, pull and pour button spout for easy pouring from the fridge or for filling bottles.
Unlike other leading water filter jugs, ZeroWater benefits from a patented, 5-stage Ion Exchange Filtration system which removes virtually all dissolved solids from your water. This provides great tasting water without the dissolved solids which may include Minerals, Salts, Metals, Chemicals and Runoff.
Moreover, it reduces 99% of all Fluoride and other inorganics, such as Nitrates, from your water.
Four additional stages of water filtration ensure larger particles and other contaminants are removed, ensuring the filter delivers a “000” reading on the included laboratory-grade water quality meter.

It is also possible to leave the jug on the kitchen top and to use the tap on the back to easily tap a glass of filtered water without having to lift the jug. *Increased levels of TDS (total dissolved solids) may affect taste and appearance of your water. ZeroWater Technology is the only water filtration system to remove 99.6% of TDS, equivalent to TDS in purified bottled water.
WHAT IS TDS?
ZeroWater's first layer of filtration, activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy removes the chlorine taste you are accustom to with tap water.
The Ion Exchange stage removes virtually all dissolved solids that may be left over from public water systems or even leached into your water from piping such as Aluminum, Lead, Zinc, Nitrate and more.
Three additional stages are included to remove other contaminants and to ensure your water receives the appropriate amount of treatment time to deliver a "000" reading on your laboratory-grade Total Dissolved Solids meter included.
Stage 1: Coarse filter to remove fine particles/sediment.
Stage 2: Distributor that maximizes contact time.
Stage 3: Multi-layer system using activated carbon and oxidation reduction alloy.
Stage 4: Comprehensive ION EXCHANGE array.
Stage 5: Non-woven membrane to remove fine particles.
The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water treatment device are not necessarily in all users' water.
AND WHEN SHOULD YOU REPLACE THE FILTER?
Unfortunately it is not possible to give an exact lifespan for the filter.
This is because the amount of contamination is different per water tap.
In order to know when you should replace the filter, you receive a free TDS meter with each jug.
You put this in the water every week to test whether it is time to replace the filter.
Would you like to know more about the TDS meter or how you assemble the water jug?
Please read the complete manual.
PELASE NOTE!
Do not use with water that is microbiological unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection.
Unless stated otherwise, municipal water is drinkable.
Filtered potable tap water tested by an independent lab (not the FDA) to meet specifically the water quality requirements for using the label purified.
Compared to water produced by leading gravity fed filters.
AMOUNT OF WATER CAN BE CLEANED
The water inspection device (TDS meter) is calibrated and ready for use.
The TDS meter shows the number of dissolved particulates in water in parts per million
(1 ppm = 1 milligram of dissolved solids per liter of water).
When dissolved particulates in water are present (according to TDS evidence):
from 002 to 050 ppm (low polluted water) – clears ~ 150 liters
from 051 to 200 ppm (the most common contamination) – clears from 95 to 150 liters
from 201 to 300 ppm (a lot of particulate matter) – clearsfrom 55 to 9 5 liters
from 301 to 400 ppm (particle very much) – clears from 30 to 55 liters
above 401 ppm (particle extremely high) – clears 30 liters or less
